Video: Two gators caught in brawl at Lakeland preserve

Lakeland, Fla. — We know alligator mating season can be intense, but a video caught by a Florida man shows two giant beasts in battle at a Lakeland preserve.

Hank Bagwell grabbed his camera, Monday,  when he spotted one alligator at the Circle B Bar Reserve, but was surprised to see it was swimming directly toward a second "huge" gator.

The two giants began fighting as Bagwell caught his breath, muttering to himself, “Oh my godl!”

One of the gators finally submerged and sauntered out of the water on the other side of the canal.

“Dude that was cool,” Bagwell commented with a chuckle.

Once things seemed to calm down, Bagwell said, “If it’s all the same to you, I’m just going to mosey on by.”

Bagwell posted the video on his Facebook page with the comment. “The gators put on a show today on my hike at Circle B Bar Reserve!”
