Tina Turner mural defaced with incorrectly painted swastika

A mural of Tina Turner was defaced at a North Carolina record store.

The depiction of Turner was spray-painted with a red swastika.

The incident took place at Static Age Records in Asheville.

The defaced mural was covered up with a black sheet by someone unconnected to the store.

The owner said his store is "a widely inclusive safe space."

The murals outside include Turner, Lou Reed, Screamin' Jay Hawkins and Lemmy from Motorhead.
