Those smelly night-time love toots may help you live longer

UK — A study conducted by some brave scientists at the University of Exeter in the U.K found that hydrogen sulfide may make you live longer.

In case you didn’t know, hydrogen sulfide is the gross scent that gives flatulence its rotten egg-like quality.

The study results shows small regular doses can reduce the risk of heart attacks, cancer, arthritis, strokes and dementia.

When healthy cells become shredded by diseases, they draw in enzymes to generate quantities of hydrogen sulfide, also known as fart gas.

This keeps the mitochondria cells moving allowing damaged cells to leave.

If this doesn’t happen, the cells die and lose the ability to regulate survival and control inflammation.

The study is published in the MedChemCom Journal.
