Study: Women love men with psychopathic traits

Women are attracted to smooth talkers who drip with confidence-- both traits of psychopaths-- according to a new study.

Brock University researchers found the higher a man scored on a test for psychopathic traits, the sexier women rated him after viewing a short video of him.

The theory is that psychopathic men may use their charm and exciting personality to gain trust and desire, but those things ultimately mean nothing as the psychopath's goal is only selfish pleasure.

Researcher Kristopher Brazil explains, "The old cliché of getting to know someone may well be one maxim to live by to protect oneself from getting into a relationship with a psychopathic individual."
