Orlando, Fla. — The Nelson campaign announced that the first of three scheduled debates in the Florida Senate race will take place on October 2, in Miami.
The race between Governor Rick Scott and his democratic opponent Senator Bill Nelson, has become one of the most closely watched races in the nation.
The hour-long debate will be broadcast by Telemundo stations in Miami, Fort Myers, Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach.
