LONDON — Dame Vera Lynn, best known as the singer of the 1939 ballad "We'll Meet Again," has died at age 103, multiple news outlets are reporting.
"The family are deeply saddened to announce the passing of one of Britain's best-loved entertainers at the age of 103," read the statement obtained by ITV.
The statement did not provide details about Lynn's cause of death. Her family said they will announce details about a memorial service in the future, the BBC reported.
Lynn's other well-known songs include "The White Cliffs of Dover" and "There'll Always Be an England."
