Orange County Deputies Searching for Man Who Stalked Child

Detectives with the Sex Crimes division of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office are trying to locate a man who they say stalked and tried to kidnap a child over the weekend.

Investigators say it happened Saturday in the Avalon Park area of east Orange County.

The man is described as slender and white in his 40’s.  Investigators say he has receding gray hair, a chipped front tooth and tattoo on his neck.

He’s wanted on aggravated stalking and attempted false imprisonment charges.
