ORLANDO, FL — Police have arrested a man after witnesses said they saw him kick two swans while practicing karate at Lake Eola Park.
34-year year old Rocco Mantella was arrested on Thursday.
Witnesses told police that Mantella was practicing kicking, before hitting the swans as hard as possible. He also left the walkway to purposely kick a swan.
Another witness told police that two of the swans fell to the ground because they were kicked so gard.
Mantella was taken into custody without any incident and will face animal cruelty charges.
