HELP ID THEM: Orlando Police looking for teens who robbed elderly woman

Orlando, Fla. — An elderly woman is battered and robbed at gunpoint outside a north Orlando Dollar Tree.

According to a case report, 74-year old Mattie Mae Morris was walking out of the Dollar Tree on 4300 Clarcona Ocoee Road when two black male suspects noticed she was carrying cash.

They asked her for money and she refused. Later, as she was walking away, a black Toyota Corolla approached Morris and one of the suspects exited and violently pushed Morris to the ground.

The suspects took her purse containing $600 in cash along with her ID and health insurance card.

Both suspects are believed to be between 15 and 17 years old.

Orlando Police says one referred to the other as "Peanut" during the robbery.

A Dollar Tree clerk told officers that suspect was known to her.

Police are looking for the suspects and the Toyota Corolla, described having plastic hub caps (with the passenger front hub cap missing and exposing an all-black rim) and a rusted roof.

Contact OPD at 407-246-2470 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
