Get a Sneak peek of Disney Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. — Disney's Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens this Friday at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

To peek your interest they released some behind-the-scenes footage featuring Disney's "Volunteer Family of the Year."

In the video, Bob Chapek, Chairman Disney Parks Experiences and Products, asks the group,  “How would you like to be the very first kids on the block to give it a shot?”

The question was answered with cheers.

The ride recruits visitors to fight the First Order as they board a full-size transport shuttle.

Tensions run high when they are captured by a Star Destroyer and come face-to-face with Kylo Ren.

There is no shortage of stormtroopers or TIE fighters, lightsabers and more.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is scheduled to open December 5 at Hollywood Studios and on January 17 at Disneyland in California.
