Dogs evacuated from hurricane-ravaged U.S. Virgin Islands now up for adoption in Sanford

SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA — Meet Blair, Jo, and Natalie.

The three pups are part of a group of 14 dogs that are now up for adoption at the Pet Alliance in Sanford after being evacuated from the U.S. Virgin Islands. Many of the dogs lost their homes due to severe damage caused by two hurricanes that hit the area. So now, they are looking for new families for Christmas.

“We have a Yorkie up to a lovely Pit bull by the name of Lexie,” says the Pet Alliance. “You name it. We’ve got it up there.”

Stanley Steemer is covering all adoption fees so you can bring home a new furry friend for free.

“They’re up and available today, come adopt!”

The Pet Alliance is located at 2800 County Home Rd, Sanford, FL 32773.
