TAMPA, Fla. — Republican Ron DeSantis plans in a few weeks to unveil his plan to improve Florida’s traffic flow.

In comments to reporters outside a Tampa middle school on Tuesday, the ex-congressman says he plans to use his connections within the Trump Administration to improve the way we travel along the roads and to relieve traffic congestion.

Without offering many details, DeSantis said “It is very important. You look at the Tampa Bay area where I grew up. You know it’s gotten more congested over the years. Orlando is a disaster for traffic, Miami’s like a parking lot.”

Orlando drivers are still dealing with the 21-mile-long I-4 Ultimate improvement project.
