Port Canaveral, Fla. — Condé Nast Traveler readers chose Disney Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean as the top large and mega cruise lines in the world - and both have ships that call Central Florida their home port.
More than 600,000 readers from across the globe took part in the survey which rated their travel experiences on more than 400 ships from several companies.
Results were released Monday.
Disney Cruise lines took top honors for the eighth year in a row in the category for large ships or those who host between 2,500 and 4,000 guests.
The Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy both offer cruises from Port Canaveral.
