Orange County, Fla. — Orange County Utilities has issued a precautionary boil water advisory due to a water main break in the southeast part of Orange County.
They say more than 800 customers that were affected live on North Shore Golf Club Boulevard between Kirby Smith Road and Moss Park Road. The customers have reportedly been called via an automated phone message.
The water main repairs are currently in progress and is expected to be done by the end of the day. Once repairs are in place, bacterial samples will collected over the next 2 days to be analyzed by the water laboratory.
Until the samples have been cleared from the lab, the affected customers are urged to boil their water before using it.
