Foodies get out those calendars! Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month begins today with over 100 Orlando Area restaurants offering a three-course, prix fixe dinner menu for just $35 per person, and the best part is that one dollar from every meal served during Magical Dining Month is donated to children in need. This year, the program will help children affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities, though donations to Best Buddies and The Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida.

The search for the next American Idol will once again begin at Walt Disney World, as the nationwide bus tour for the second season of ABC’s American Idol kicks off on August 25th at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. During the auditions, the 220-acre facility that annually hosts more than 100 events ranging from youth sports to professional sports will also have special appearances by ABC’s American Idol Season 1 winner Maddie Poppe, runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson, and finalist Catie Turner.

Star Wars in Concert continues at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts with Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert featuring the iconic full-length film on the big screen with The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra performing John Williams’s legendary score live.
