$200,000 Porsche burns to the ground in store parking lot

A $200,000 2014 Porsche Turbo 911 S gathered quite the crowd when the German supercar burst into flames in a Costco parking lot.

Robert "Mefi Bob" Radke of MEFIburn.com caught the video on his phone, explaining, "The car started smoking a few rows downwind of where I parked, I moved my car upwind of it and saw the flame action."

The owner came out a few minutes later to see his 560-horsepower, seven-speed, 190-plus-mph engulfed in fire.

Radke claims the self-immolating car could possibly been salvageable after firefighters doused the flames, until they realized they had to pull it apart.

The fire crew tore at the sheet metal of the Porsche to make sure there were no further hot spots, and ensure the crispy car wouldn't re-combust, possibly injuring crew or by standers.

There is no yet word on what exactly caused the sports car to catch fire.
