Orlando, Fla. — Four men were arrested as they attempted to rob a bank in Apopka Thursday morning.
Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said multiple agencies have been searching for the men for several weeks in connection to multiple bank robberies throughout Central Florida.
“They were dangerous. They were armed. We have recovered multiple firearms,” Demings said. “We are elated we were able to take them into custody.”
The suspects were identified as Tariq Cherry, Lamarcus Harvey, Walter Jones and Cory Robinson.
Detectives didn’t say how they know the robbery was going to go down, but they knew the men would be coming to the Iberia-bank 1420 W Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka.
