Check out this $800 airbag for people

Remember the last time you fell down hard and how bad it hurt? Well, if you had this body airbag, perhaps you wouldn't have felt a thing!

French company Helite has come up the Hip' Air, a  wearable airbag belt with sensors inside that can detect when you're about to fall, and inflates two airbags right above your hips before you hit the ground. CNET calls it "perfect for your grandma, your grandpa or anyone you know who's particularly clumsy."

The company is pitching the product at CES in Las Vegas this year. Hip' Air claims it absorbs 90 percent of the impact from a regular fall and is geared toward elderly people. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, falls are the leading cause of injury and death for older Americans, costing an estimated $31 billion in yearly Medicare costs. Hip' Air hopes to help solve that problem.

The product will cost you about $790 and is set to launch in March in Europe before its September release in the U.S.
