Gunfire was reported during a football scrimmage at Palm Beach Central High School in Wellington Friday night.

Witnesses say the football teams on the field and people in the stadium were evacuated immediately.

There has yet to be confirmation of any injuries, but the Palm Beach Post Newspaper is reporting that a helicopter landed on the field, and a man was being treated on the track that surrounds the football field.

The shooting interrupted a practice game between Palm Beach Central High in Wellington and William T. Dwyer High School from Palm Beach Gardens.
