Florida Puerto Rican Parade will broadcast live on WFTV

Even if you aren’t able to make it to downtown Orlando this year on April 29th, you’ll still be able to enjoy the 2nd Annual Florida Puerto Rican Parade as you’ll be able to watch it live on Channel 9 - WFTV.

The parade starts at 10:00 AM and begin on East Concord Street and North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando, and end at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The fun will continue at the Seneff Arts Plaza with the free Puerto Rican Festival.

“As the largest Puerto Rican market in the United States, we are truly excited to announce this partnership with the Florida Puerto Rican Parade and Festival,” said Paul Curran, market vice president for Cox Media Group Orlando.

Cox owns WFTV and sister station WRDQ-Channel 27, which will offer a repeat of the parade at 11 p.m. April 28.

‘Nancy Alvarez and our Eyewitness News team have worked tirelessly to share stories of resiliency and recovery on the island after last year’s devastating storms,” Curran added. “With more families relocating to Central Florida every day, this event is a perfect opportunity to continue our mission of serving our community.”
