July 21st is National Ice Cream Day, and businesses around the nation want you to stop by your local favorite dessert spot and enjoy some deliciousness to keep you cool in the summer heat.
35 years ago, President Ronald Reagan declared the third Sunday of July as National Ice Cream day, and the month of July as National Ice Cream Month. This move came as Reagan noted that the industry generated over 3 billion dollars in annual sales.
