VISALIA, Calif. — A California man who was convicted of more than three dozen counts of child molestation has received a prison sentence of “1,015 years to life,” prosecutors said Monday.

According to KSEE and KMPH, 30-year-old Aristeo Sampablo, of Lindsay, was convicted in July 2019 of 41 counts of child sex charges, including sodomy and sexual intercourse with a minor, the Tulare County District Attorney's Office said in a news release.

The victims in the incidents, which occurred from March 2015 to May 2017, were two girls "between the ages of 6 and 10 at the time of the sexual assaults," the news release said.

In addition to the prison time, Sampablo will be listed on the sex offender registry, prosecutors said.
