Winter Park Police arrest man suspected of posting Facebook threats

Detectives from the Winter Park Police Department have identified and arrested the suspect who posted threats to a student at Winter Park High School.

Jeremy Robert Chilik, W/M, date of birth 07/06/1988 was arrested without incident at his residence and booked into the Seminole County Jail at 3:15 AM on Saturday, December 15th, 2012.

Chilik was charged with one count of Florida Statute 836.10, which is the transmitting of written threats to kill or do bodily injury (a second-degree felony.)

A judge ordered that Chilik is to have no contact with the victim and is not to go to Winter Park High School as conditions of any pretrial release.  His bond was set at $2,500.00.

Copies of any paperwork associated with this case will not be available until Monday, December 17th.
