Walt Disney World has released plans showing what a visit could look like when they open

5/27/2020 — If you are going, you will have to make a reservation through their new pre-arrival theme park reservation system.  Once you get there, you will be required to wear a face mask, and you will have your temperature taken at the main entrance with a contactless, handheld device.  They will operate at reduced capacity in the parks overall, and they will limit the number of people in all other locations too-including attractions, retail shops, food and beverage locations, and on modes of transportation.  They will be limiting all contact, and yes, that means you won’t be getting your selfies with Mickey and Minnie.  There will not be any character interactions taking place.  You also won’t be seeing any parades or fireworks shows for now-or any events that would create crowds.  As far as forms of payment, they are going to make it easier for you to make contactless, cashless transactions.  Not only can you use your Magic Band, but you can also use Apply Pay or Google Pay.  You are also going to notice plexiglass at points of sale in retail and food locations, and more hand washing and sanitizing stations. Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are planning to open July 11th, and Hollywood Studios and Epcot are planning to open July 15th.
