Voters “whipped into a frenzy” get the facts from Seminole Elections chief

SANFORD, Fla. — The Chief of Elections for Seminole County wants people to know the facts about what is and is not being shared by the state to President Donald Trump's voter integrity commission, so he has posted a fact sheet on the top of his website.

“A lot of people have been whipped into a frenzy by partisans from either side on what’s happening... and they need to go to a place where they can just get the straight facts on what’s happening.” Mike Ertel explained.

He even posted his phone numbers so voters can call him and we learned that a few dozen already have.

Some are so worried, he said, that they told him they wanted to cancel their voter registration.

“I’ve been able to convince them to stay registered,” he added.

The fact sheet was posted two weeks ago and is being updated regularly.
