Two Osceola County students charged for making “stab” and “safe” lists

Kissimmee, Fla. — Two students in Osceola County have been charged with threatening to kill students at Horizon Middle School.

The investigation began Tuesday just as the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice launched an "It's No Joke" awareness campaign to curb school threats.

Maj. Jacob Ruiz says the kids made two lists: one of students they planned to stab, and another of classmates on a "safe" list.

The students called it a joke.

They're now booked into the Juvenile Detention Center in Orlando.
