Teenager arrested for fatal shooting outside nightclub on I-Drive

ORLANDO, FL — A 17-year old boy was arrested on Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting last month outside a nightclub.

Daeshawn Simmons was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of 17-year old Terron McCarty on March 21st, outside LUX Ultra Lounge on International Drive and South Kirkman Road.

The Orlando Police Department said Simmons and McCarty started arguing inside the club, which spilled out into the parking lot and ended with gunfire.

Almost 20 spent shell casings and bullets were found in the parking lot.
