A former Volusia County high school teacher accused of having sex with one of her students is out on bond.
In December, Stephanie Cobb resigned from her position at University High School in Orange City. She is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old teen student.
Police said Cobb made an anonymous call to 911, worried the teen would commit suicide after she broke up with him in December.
According to deputies, they found Cobb's cell phone number in his phone as "my precious angel." The teen denied that he was suicidal but deputies discovered the relationship between the teen and Cobb.
Investigators said they were able to trace that call back to Cobb and arrested her on Wednesday.
She is facing a second-degree felony charge of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. Bond was set for $25,000.
