Seminole County deputies investigate murder near Altamonte Springs

Altamonte Springs, Fla. — Investigators in Seminole County are looking into the death of a man that took place near Altamonte Springs Saturday afternoon.

Just after 3:30 p.m., deputies were called to a home in the 500 block of Georgia Avenue, where a woman told investigators she found a resident dead inside the home.

The victim has been identified as 52 year old Douglas Adams. Deputies have confirmed that Adams died from a gunshot wound. However, investigators do not believe this homicide was random and are actively working to identify a suspect.
