Rotary Club of Orlando hosting inaugural Christmas parade in downtown

Orlando, Fla. — Another way to both celebrate the holidays and bring joy to children everywhere is happening in downtown Orlando. The 2018 downtown Orlando Christmas parade is being presented by the Rotary club of Orlando.

As said by the club, the holiday is about hope, family, unity, faith and love. They are also outreaching to the community for anyone who wants to volunteer or become a co-sponsor. All of the benefits of the parade will go to Toys for Tots, who will also be accepting donations during the parade. You can just hand them to the Marines who will be marching in the parade.

The parade starts at 4 p.m on West Robinson Street where it will head down North Orange Avenue and then end up on the other side of East Robinson Street. The right travel lane along East Livingston Street towards Magnolia Avenue will be closed at 3pm.
