New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft didn't like the first plea offer from Florida prosecutors, but The Boston Herald reports efforts for a deal aren't over.
The Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office on Tuesday offered Kraft and 24 other men charged with soliciting prostitution a diversion program offered to first-time offenders.
The plea deal called for completion of an education course about prostitution, 100 hours of community service, screening for STI's, and a $5,000 court fee payment. Kraft would also have to admit he would have been proven guilty had the case gone to trial
The Herald reports Kraft's lawyers have "made it known this deal wasn't acceptable." They will attempt to counter with a "more favorable deal."
