Real estate investors polling Orlando residents on what they want downtown

A pair of investors are working to reestablish an iconic building in downtown Orlando and they need your help.

The Church Street Train Depot has been a fixture downtown since the late 1880’s.

In the 1970’s and 1980’s it was part of the Rosie O’Grady’s Church Street entertainment complex and drew millions of visitors.  However in recent decades the building, like a lot of Church Street, has fallen on hard times.

The most recent tenant of the building was a failed restaurant and sports bar.  Enter the Rob and Joe Nunziata, who recently bought the building for $4 million.

The brothers want to resurrect the building and they’re asking Orlando residents to weigh in.

They say this is the right time to bring in a new tenant with the downtown Orlando UCF campus taking shape and the Orlando Magic developing their own entertainment complex on the other side of I-4.

The Nunziata brothers have developed a website where Orlandoans can cast their vote for who they want the next tenant to be.
