The Orlando Fire Department was called out for a rescue Tuesday night to save a four-legged victim.
Drivers reported hearing a kitten meow inside a storm drain near the intersection of South Semoran Boulevard and Hoffner Avenue.
Using a fishing net, a firefighter from the Tower 8 crew was able to scoop the kitten up and pull it to safety.
Here kitty, kitty. Last night, near S. Semoran Blvd. and Hoffner Ave. we responded to a cat stuck in storm drain. Drivers at the intersection pulled over after hearing the little guy meow. A bystander pulled out a cell phone and recorded the cute kitten being attended to. The kitten appears to be fine.
