Orlando Fire Department Rescues Kitten From Storm Drain

The Orlando Fire Department was called out for a rescue Tuesday night to save a four-legged victim.

Drivers reported hearing a kitten meow inside a storm drain near the intersection of South Semoran Boulevard and Hoffner Avenue.

Using a fishing net, a firefighter from the Tower 8 crew was able to scoop the kitten up and pull it to safety.

A bystander pulled out a cell phone and recorded the cute kitten being attended to.  The kitten appears to be fine.
