Orlando, Fla. — Wally's Bar and Liquors in downtown has been open just one week and everyone seems to have an opinion about the new look and feel of the Orlando staple.
One opinion that may carry more weight is that of Attorney John Morgan, who's known as a regular at the establishment often buying rounds for patrons.
Morgan even once said he would buy the icon to preserve its traditions.

That was after it was announced the original owners were selling, but that did not come to fruition.
Minesh Patel and Reid Pasternack did purchase the bar and revamped it as they saw fit, with a new cocktail menu and modern decor, calling it an old bar with a new touch.
The grand re-opening took place Friday June 17, 2019.

Fast forward to Sunday when the larger-than-life Orlando lawyer sent out his review via Instagram.
Posting this message, "Sorry to report I will not be a customer of @wallysmills50. I liked it because it was a dive bar w/ strong drinks & real people. … They say you can never go back. I‘m afraid it’s true. #RIPWallys"
We will have to wait and see if the man who says he is “For the People” will have an impact on the people and on Wally’s.
