ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA — In an effort to help Central Florida residents avoid becoming victims of post-holiday burglaries, several ‘burglar boxes’ have been set up where residents can dispose of their cardboard boxes instead of leaving them on the curb until trash day.
Boxes for expensive gifts left out in plain sight may entice thieves, so bringing them to a burglar box could help reduce break-ins by the bad guys who are after your stuff.
"Don't be a target for crime!" tweets the Orange County Sheriff's Office, along with a list of burglar box locations.
