Orange County, Fla. — A domestic incident at a Windermere apartment complex Wednesday night, led to a deputy involved shooting, chase and a man being arrested.
It happened around 8 p.m. at the Citra Apartments on Citra Circle in Windermere, according to the Orange County Sheriff's office.
Sheriff John Mina says deputies found 23-year-old Laforest Duron Gray Jr. and a woman in a confrontation at the apartments and Gray was armed with a hand gun and resisted deputies.
"The suspect did receive injuries from a K9 bite. After the shots were fired, he still refused to come out of the garage. He resisted arrest, and the K9 was deployed to arrest him," Mina explained.
The deputies and the woman involved were not injured.
