ORLANDO, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation is planning to close a busy stretch of I-4 in downtown Orlando this week so crews can work on the S.R. 408/I-4 interchange.
Eastbound I-4 will be closed from Gore Street to South Street nightly, between the hours of midnight and 5 a.m. March 11-15.
I-4 traffic will be detoured along Garland Avenue through downtown Orlando.
Drivers on the S.R. 408 trying to get onto I-4 eastbound will have to get off of S.R. 408 at Orange Blossom Trail. From there, they will need to take O.B.T. north to West Colonial Drive to get onto I-4.
