Weather forecasters say they expect the upcoming hurricane season to be busier than normal, though not as damaging as last year’s.
Colorado State University's Tropical Meteorology Project is calling for seven hurricanes, three of them could be category three or higher, and 14 named storms are possible.
Last year was extremely active, with 17 named storms and was the most costly, due to hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
September 2017 was busiest month of record for tropical trouble.
The hurricane season begins June 1st.
