Florida man kills homeless victim with 3-foot sword

LAKE WORTH, Fla. — A 51-year-old South Florida man with a tattooed forehead is charged with murder for killing a homeless man with a sword.

David Beckett, 58, and George Livingston, 51, got into a fight before the stabbing, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The altercation happened at the men’s homeless camp.

Investigators found the alleged murder weapon and the victim's bloody body near railroad tracks in Lake Worth, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Livingston has served multiple prison sentences prior to the attack, records show.

He is being held at the Palm Beach County jail on a second-degree murder charge.
