Florida man gets DUI charge for drunk driving in lawn mower

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — With a pack of Budweiser on the side of his lawn mower, 56-year-old Kenneth Alleshouse was arrested Friday on suspicion of driving drunk.

Alleshouse’s blood-alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit when an officer found him driving erratically on a main road, according to St. Lucie Police.

The officer pulled the driver over on the 10400 block of U.S. 1 and immediately noticed the strong odor of alcohol, police said.

Alleshouse was arrested for DUI and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail, according to the arrest report.
