Florida’s aviation community responds to Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian

The world’s largest network of Fixed Base Operators or “FBOs” is organizing efforts to provide relief to people in the Bahamas affected by Hurricane Dorian.

Signature Flight Support provides ground handling services for aircraft at airports throughout the state of Florida and around the world, including Palm Beach International Airport.

The company is using its location at PBI as a hub for its relief effort to the Bahamas.  Signature is collecting supplies at each of its airports in Florida which will be transported to West Palm Beach and then flown to the Bahamas.

Signature is collecting non-perishable food items, bottled water, water filters, bug spray, sunscreen, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items and medicines.

You can also donate flashlights, batteries, tools and generators.

Locally, you can drop off items at two locations:

Signature Flight Support Orlando International Airport

4215 Lindy Circle, Orlando, FL 32821

and

Signature Flight Support Kissimmee Gateway Airport

201 Dyer Boulevard, Kissimmee, FL 34741
