FDOT and the City of Orlando want to hear your thoughts on the Packing District

Orlando, Fla. — Some major changes are coming to the College Park area.

The new Packing District will redesign Princeton Street between Orange Blossom Trail and John Young Parkway.

A stretch of Orange Blossom Trail around Princeton will also undergo changes.

The Florida Department of Transportation wants to hear your thoughts on the project.

The changes include a four-lane divided road with on-street parking, 6-foot wide sidewalks, and 10-foot separated bicycle lanes.

A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 26th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Northwest Neighborhood Center (3955 W D Judge Drive, Orlando, FL 32808.)

“The hearing will begin as an open house format at 5:30 p.m. A formal presentation will be given at 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period. Members of the study team will be available to answer questions and obtain input from attendees. A certified court reporter will also be present to collect and document comments, and will prepare a verbatim transcript of the presentation for the project record.”
