Extraordinary video of skier falling 1,600 feet

Have you ever heard of backpack airbags? Well, that's exactly what professional skier Ian McIntosh says saved his life.

McIntosh was filming the new ski movie “Paradise Waits” on Alaska’s Neacola mountain range when he took the 1,600 foot fall.

His microphone was on during the fall, and recorded every gasp and grunt down the hill.

Luckily McIntosh had the wherewithal, in the middle of the fall, to deploy the device.
