Daytona Police release video of gunfire in daylight, shooter wanted

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Daytona Beach Police Department on Tuesday released video of a man firing a gun outside of a store in broad daylight.

The actual, incident happened on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Bethune Village Market on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard.

Police say the video shows Ronald Denson, 26, firing at a nearby car in the parking lot.  The driver of the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

In a follow-up Facebook post, police call Denson’s shooting “a heinous attack in the middle of the day in a parking lot where other people - aside from the intended target - could have been hurt or killed.
