Orlando, Fla. — Detectives in Seminole County hope a new, hyper-realistic composite sketch can help them solve a cold case.
The Sheriff's Office says on September 23, 2018, skeletal remains were found in some woods in unincorporated Sanford.
“What makes it so much more challenging is there wasn’t any identification, nothing obvious with the body, clothing, jewelry, anything that gives us a better clue,” said Bob Kealing, Public Information Officer with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
They determined the remains were those of an adult white male between 30 and 40 years of age.
The Volusia County Medical Examiner's Office have reconstructed a composite of the man's face from the decomposed body.
“It’s probably our best hope yet to finding out who this individual was,” says Kealing.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective James Gallina at (407) 665-6597.
