The St. Cloud Police Department is hosting an obstacle course run later this month.
The Robo Mud Run is June 30, at Peghorn Nature Park and Trail.
The course features more than 60 obstacles meant to replicate the training endured by SWAT officers. It was initially designed to be a 10K, but with a few variations, the course can measure up to 6 miles.
This week, St. Cloud Police Chief Pete Gauntlett raised the stakes, challenging other chiefs of police and sheriffs across central Florida to compete in the run.
