Clearwater Police find stolen Krispy Kreme van, give doughnuts to homeless

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Clearwater Police found a stolen Krispy Kreme Doughnuts van on Tuesday afternoon in Crest Lake Park and decided to share the loot.

The store manager gave the dozens of doughnuts still on board to the police officers, who enjoyed some for themselves and then gave the rest out to homeless people next to their police station.

The van was actually found 300 miles from where it was stolen in Lake City.  Police haven’t identified suspects.
