HBO is coming out with a new documentary about Senator John McCain's life and legacy called John McCain: For Whom the Bell Tolls.
The project is named after McCain’s favorite book by Ernest Hemingway about a young American in the International Brigades attached to a republican guerrilla unit during the Spanish Civil War.
HBO said producers were given “unprecedented access” to document his daily life in Washington, DC. and Sedona, Arizona. McCain agreed to have his life recorded and commemorated shortly after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
