Frustrated with traffic, Chinese man paints arrows on lanes

A Chinese commuter, tired of traffic congestion at a particular intersection on his way home, decided to take matters into his own hands by grabbing a can of spray paint and remarking traffic arrows.

Like most anywhere, the 28-year-old was caught on camera and police fined him 1,000 yuan or $151 for changing the arrow markings on the road.

“What a brave, dumb guy," said one commenter on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging site.

The arrows were restored to their original state and and now doubt the commuter is still getting stuck in traffic on his bus ride home.
