Residents in Los Angeles could be forgiven for calling the cops after witnessing a giant fireball in the sky.
But there's no need to panic.
In an effort to quell fears over Wednesday night's incident, the LAPD tweeted out a video along with the caption, "A meteor did not crash into Downtown Los Angeles, and no, it's not an alien invasion...just a film shoot."
Perhaps the police just wanted to reassure newcomers to the city, adding, "This is Tinseltown after all," to their message.
